"Mesozoic Sky" Limited-Edition Giclée Print
"Mesozoic Sky" was painted to explore how humans have reorganized the layers in the natural world, contributing to the warming of our planet. Specifically, humans drill oil up from beneath the earth, transform into materials and burn it as fuel, emitting CO2 in the atmosphere. The bright red tones are reflected on the side of the figure's face and in the growing pile of trash above. Perhaps an urgent warning sign from a not-so-distant future.
